01What we collect
Through the contact form: your name, email address, company and message. When you create an account: your email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash); the public sign-up form also asks for your name, company and phone number, and your country is optional; an invited tester gives only an email address and a password. If you tick the newsletter box, your email address and username are kept on a mailing list. In Demo PP: the projects you save, the images and files you upload, how you use the editor (a usage log that never contains your texts or file names) and your AI credit balance. We also keep a technical log of AI use (account, time, model and size of the request, never the content). Optional fields can be left empty.
02Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry and carry out the conversation that follows; to run your account (including the password-reset email) and the Demo PP service; and, during the Paper Pop pilot, to understand whether people get from an idea to a printable file (usage counts only, the log holds none of your content). Nothing else.
03Images and files you upload
In the Try feature, the image you upload is sent to our server and to Google (through its Gemini API) as soon as you choose it, to analyse it and redraw it in fewer inks. We do not keep the image you upload. If you are signed in, the redrawn results are kept in your account history (the 20 most recent) so that you can find them again. In Demo PP, the images you place in the editor and the projects you save are stored on our server under your account, so that your work is there when you come back.
04Dielines you drop into Demo (optional)
In Demo you can drop a blank dieline and a filled dieline. They are read on our server to build your pack, and nothing is kept for that. For accounts that can use Demo's AI features, text that was converted to outlines in the filled dieline is read by sending an image of its page to Google (through its Gemini API). A box above the two fields, ticked by default, lets LESSŌ keep two things to learn how packs fold and are laid out: the blank dieline, whole (the cutting die, without artwork) and, from the filled dieline, its structure only: the role of each panel; for each text block its position, size, number of lines, rotation and role (title, description…); the position and size of logos, pictograms and barcodes; and the folds. We never keep the filled dieline, your texts, the content of logos, images or barcodes, or your colours. The blank dieline is kept only if it looks like a cutting die (no images, hardly any text); its metadata is removed before it is stored. These files are stored without your name or account, with the day and the version of this policy in force at that moment. For that reason we cannot find what an account dropped in order to delete it on request. Untick the box before you drop your files if you prefer that nothing is kept. The example files are ours and are never sent.
05Where your information is stored
Our server is in the United States (hosting by Hostinger). Archeco Inc. is based in Tokyo. By creating an account you accept that your account, projects and files are stored there. If you do not accept, do not create an account; if you already have one, write to us and we will delete it.
06Google (Gemini)
Google receives what you give to the AI features. In Try, that is the image you upload, as described above. In Demo PP nothing is sent to Google unless you press an AI button (and, in Demo, for accounts with access to the AI features, when a filled dieline whose text was converted to outlines is read: see the section on dielines); when you do, the text you wrote and, if you chose one, the image you gave (a visual or references) are sent to Google through its Gemini API to produce the proposal. Google's own terms for the Gemini API govern what it does with them, including how long it keeps them and where. In Demo PP the result comes back to your project and AI features use credits.
07Sharing
We do not sell your information. We pass it only to the providers that run the service, and only for that purpose: our hosting provider, our email service provider (for the password-reset message, and for the file you choose to send to Paper Pop), Google (reCAPTCHA, and Gemini for the AI features) and Meta (advertising measurement, only if you accept it). We also disclose it where the law requires it. Paper Pop (Korea) receives a file from you only when you click “Send to Paper Pop” in Demo PP and confirm: we then send them that PDF and your account’s email address, by email through our email service provider, so they can print a test and reply to you.
08Third-party services
We use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated submissions on forms and sign-up; Google’s own privacy policy and terms apply to it. We may also use Google measurement tags to attribute advertising.
09Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel, a measurement tag provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to understand which advertisements bring people to this site and whether they go on to contact us. It records the pages you view, the moment a Try session starts and, on the confirmation page, the fact that an enquiry was sent, never the content of your message, your uploaded images or your form entries. The data is sent to Meta, which processes it under its own privacy policy and may combine it with a Facebook or Instagram account if you have one. Wherever you are, the tag does not load at all unless you accept it in the choice banner: refusing costs you nothing and changes nothing about the site. It never loads on the sign-up, login, password, access-code, account, administration or editor pages. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser, which restores the choice banner.
10How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as a record of the work after we have replied. Accounts, projects and files are kept while your account exists; the usage log is kept for the length of the pilot; the technical log of AI use has no end date. Backups of our data can keep a copy of a deleted account until they are overwritten (we keep up to 30 copies). Blank dielines and structures kept with your consent (see above) are kept as long as the service runs, without a link to your account.
11Access, correction, deletion
You may ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Write to contact@archeco.co.jp; we answer within 10 days. Deleting an account removes its profile, projects, images, history, credits and usage log from our server.
12Contact and person in charge
